¶ This should become a central place for IT documentation. At least all emergency plans and procedures should be documented here.
There are some rules and advices, how to write and use this documentation:
- Please write in english, maybe we get an international operations team one day and the common language is english.
- Create the documentation in a tree structure to keep it organized. Even if you don't know the tags or keywords connected to a task or service, one should be able to find the needed information.
- Once you selected a style to create a page (markdown, wysiwyg…) you can't switch for this page anymore. So if you want the full potential of the wiki markdown, create pages in markdown mode.
- Permissions are based on the folder structure. To keep it simple, we will just use the topmost part. So for example everything starting with /ubix will be for UBIX only.
